1989
The Service Center was first located at 1002 East Harvey in Wellington, Kansas, sharing office space with the Sumner County Educational Services, #619.
1993
The Service Center moved to 13939 Diagonal Road in ClearWater, Kansas.
1994
The Service Center coordinated the Region IV Para Conference. Attendance numbers were well over 3,000 participants - we continue to hold this yearly.
1995
The first high school diploma completion site, the Clearwater 
Connection, was established.
SCKESC began working with the KAMLE Organization and took care of their registration database of 10,000 members.
1999
The first year SCKESC organized and held Universal Professional Development Day at Century II, the largest teacher conference in Kansas.
2001
An additional 10,000 square feet was added to the existing building enabling The Service Center to hold meetings and training activities for groups up to 400 people.
2002
The Service Center was Awarded a three year School-to-Careers grant.
2005
Launch of @HomeRoom Virtual Classroom.
Added three additional districts to increase membership to 22 districts and three special education cooperatives.
Became the first service center to develop a partnership with NWEA.
2006
Lori Jensen obtains copyright for Curriculum In Action© curriculum writing process. Presented to a national audience at the NCA Annual Meeting in Chicago.
