As your school moves toward implementing Professional Learning Communities, the book Learning by Doing by DuFour and company can provide a specific set of steps, scenarios, and solutions for the challenges inherent in PLCs in schools. Participants will be asked to read the book, answer the questions in the assignments, and join in discussion groups on each chapter’s topic. The assignments are designed to make the topics meaningful as schools work to implement PLCs, not to look at the concepts of PLCs.
