Workshop fees are $75/Members and $145/Nonmembers. Friends University Graduate Credit is available at the cost of $75 per credit hour.

Writing will be assessed during the 2008 - 2009 school year and this workshop can help you prepare your students. The workshop will explore ways to encourage writers by using the 6-Trait for Instruction and Assessment. Participants will have an opportunity to plan lessons, practice using the new Kansas scoring rubrics, and examine the new formative assessments for writing.
