Everyone Can Write! Preparing for the Writing Assessment

Workshop fees are $80/Members and $155/Nonmembers.
Friends University Graduate Credit is Available at the cost of $75/credit hour.

Writing will be assessed during the 2008-2009 school year and this workshop can help you prepare your students. The workshop will explore ways to encourage writers by using the 6-Trait for instruction and assessment. Participants will have an opportunity to plan lessons, practice using the new Kansas scoring rubrics, and examine the new formative assessments for writing.
