Using Strategies That Work by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudviis, this workshop will examine some strategy lessons that will help students read and construct meaning from the text as well as expand and deepen their understanding. Included will be practical lessons to use for comprehension, strategies for integrating reading across the curriculum and resources to use for instructional planning.
