"MTSS: What’s all the Hoopla?” with Mark Mcbeth
MTSS is the guiding framework for school improvement to address the academic and behavioral achievement of all students. KSDE has encouraged districts and schools alike to adopt MTSS as the overarching framework that guides the improvement processes and planning to include early identification and quick response to the needs of all learners. Ensuring all students are learning is the premise of the framework. This is accomplished by intervening early to prevent student failure, use a tiered intervention that is supported by evidence-based practices, and decision makers are data informed. Come learn about the structures of MTSS, gain insight into tools that could be used to frame your adoptions.
This workshop is appropriate for all teachers and administrators.
